One of the biggest challenges of building a PC in Bahrain is knowing where to actually buy your parts. Stock varies, prices differ, and not every shop carries what you need. Having personally bought from all three of the main options — Computia, Advanti, and Caza Souq — here’s an honest comparison to help you decide where to shop.
Computia
Computia is one of the best options for buying brand new, genuine components in Bahrain. Their stock is reliable, the parts come with full manufacturer warranty, and the staff generally know what they’re talking about when it comes to compatibility.
Best for: Motherboards, CPUs, RAM, SSDs — anything you want brand new with warranty Pricing: Slightly higher than used/grey market, but you’re paying for peace of mind Verdict: Go here when quality and warranty matter
Advanti
Advanti is another solid retailer for new components. Similar to Computia in terms of product quality, but worth checking both when comparing prices on specific parts — sometimes one has better stock or pricing on a particular item than the other.
Best for: CPUs, GPUs, peripherals Pricing: Competitive with Computia — worth comparing both before buying Verdict: Always check Advanti alongside Computia before making a decision
Caza Souq
Caza Souq is a different animal entirely — it’s more of a marketplace with multiple sellers, where you’ll find a mix of new and used parts. Prices can be lower, but stock is inconsistent and you need to know what you’re looking at to avoid overpaying or getting a bad deal.
Best for: Scoring a deal on used parts, finding hard-to-stock items Pricing: Can be cheaper, but varies widely depending on the seller Verdict: Good for bargain hunting, but do your research before buying
My Recommendation
For a first-time build or if you want reliability: Computia + Advanti. Check both, compare prices on each component, and buy from whichever has the better deal on that specific part.
For budget builds or if you’re comfortable evaluating used parts: Caza Souq can save you money, but know what you’re buying.
